What is CC3DP?

It is a creative challenge in 3D printing focusing on building creativity and innovation in kids in grades 3-8.  Teams register online at cc3dp.org starting in June and ending in October. In November or December there will be a coaching development day to teach coaches about cad software, 3d printing/on demand services, and the iterative life cycle.

In January, the  challenge question goes out. Students have from January-May to design and fabricate their items. Then they bring them to a live challenge.

For our pilot season we had over 100 students participate in the challenge, over 400 kids learn CAD software, and over 450 people learn about 3D design and printing on the day of the culminating challenge

Thank you to our first season partners Divas for Social Justice, Woodside on the Move, P.S. 175. P.S. 174, P.T.A. 139, & Queens Paideia.
